Maureen Thorson’s NaPoWriMo prompt is “based on Faisal Mohyuddin’s poem 'Five Answers to the Same Question.' Today, I’d like to challenge you to write your own poem that provides five answers to the same question – without ever specifically identifying the question that is being answered.” Robert Lee Brewer’s Poem-a-Day suggestion: "For today's prompt, take the phrase "We (blank)," replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem. Possible titles might include: 'We the People,' 'We Want It Now,' 'We in the Royal Sense,' and/or 'We vs. Wii.'" Today, I'm passing on the NaPoWriMo prompt . . . just not working for me. Actually, the Poem-a-Day is not very attractive either but I'll give it a try, with a kimo — a form that's an Israeli variant of the haiku, with 10/7/6 syllables. We Are Sysiphus

Some days are just like hat - the prompts don’t click. The curtal sonnet almost had me beat the other day. Today I wrote hay(an)ku string.
“That” not “hat” - LOL
Forgot to mention I like the kimo.
Thanks for the kind words on the kimo, Bruce. It's harder than it would seem! I'll come look at your hay(na)ku "string" ... interested to see what that is.
Bruce, I bet, being retired, you don't miss these kinds of workdays!
