Maureen Thorson’s NaPoWriMo prompt: “Yesterday, I challenged you to write a poem about a very large thing. Today, I’d like you to invert your inspiration, and write a poem about a very small thing[, such as] an atom, a button, a hummingbird’s egg, dollhouse furniture, or the mythical world’s smallest violin.” Robert Lee Brewer’s Poem-a-Day prompt: “Here are the Two-for-Tuesday prompts: 1. Write a Counting poem, and/or... 2. Write a Not Counting poem.” Merging both prompts again with a kimo, like yesterday: an Israeli variant of the haiku, with 10/7/6 syllables. The Smallest Department Store Chain

Good kimo. K-Mart wasn’t my favorite department store chain, but I’ve patronized them many times in my life and there was always one nearby, it seemed. They will be missed.
Ha! Poof indeed! Ours are long gone, here in the Vegas area. Fun little piece, Vince. So good to be reading you again.
De, I need to go back to reading you again too. Thanks for coming by. Do you play Wordle? If you do, you might enjoy my poem for today.
